I don't know about all the above but speaking of Jamie Lee Curtis.....if we ever film "CDS: The Movie," no question that Gae will be portrayed by Ms. Curtis.
Heck, I might even go see it if there's free ice cream involved LOL!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Oh, the Rave. Such a wanton name for such a family-friendly theater - I have hosted two children's birthday parties there. Just a few years ago the burgeoning West Chester/Liberty Township bedroom communities had to drive to Springfield/Fairfield or Mason/Kings Mill to see a movie. The Rave opened in what was farmland 10 years ago and is now a bustling business area. I-75, I believe the exit number is 19, Union Centre Blvd., if coming from the south you go right and it is RIGHT there in front of you.Quote:

I have seen the movie just once, but I have re-read the short story since then. Oh, and I have TYPED the short story into a word file.
Yes, yes, free ice cream sweetness for all who come party at the Rave with me.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Oh, this I cannot resist. Yes, cincygreg, free ice cream to you if you come see it. I will even throw in a $5 gift certificate pack to Graeter's as well if you come. Come, cincygreg. You know you want it. Quote:

Movie times Friday and Saturday: 1:05pm, 4:10pm, 7:30pm, 10:35pm
What time is good for you all?
oh, and greg/lan:
There may be more to your liking than you realize in this movie. I mentioned to a co-worker that I would never be able to watch Ella Enchanted or The Princess Diaries again without having a flashback to watching an unclad and quite sexually aggressive Anne Hathaway in this movie.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Oh, spot on!Quote:

We could have a lot of Uh Fun ?!?!?!?! With who should play who in a movie LOL!
A younger George Carlin could have played Trav, but no more. Lou Piniella could pass for my dad, so I'll have to nominate Jack Black to pay me. James Spader or Richard Harris to play LanDroid.
And though he doesn't look the part, Russell Crowe is crazy enough to play Jumper (with Kirsten Dunst to play D2)
I can totally see Jack Black playing the Lewman....good cast Lew.
Trav - Sam Elliot
Gae - Franke Potenta
Lew - Jack Black
Dulc - Cate Blanchett
CincyGreg - Stephen Baldwin
GLG - Elijah Wood
D2 - Claire Danes
Jumper - Eric Bana
Raven - Jack Nicholson
Reason - Bill Murray or Kevin Kline...not sure.
LanDroid - Bill Gates or maybe William H. Macy
